Established over 30 years ago, Wishaw Country Sports is a beautifully rustic function venue set in the rural Warwickshire countryside just minutes from Sutton Coldfield.

The heart of their farm, The Lodge, is a traditional red brick barn lovingly restored as a charming and authentic venue perfect for a relaxed family event, birthday party or corporate function.

Website Design and Training

The website needed to get across the range of events for which the venue can cater – from birthday parties to corporate functions and Sunday lunches.

A combination of venue and stock photography brings the site alive and easily manages to convey the atmosphere of the location, whatever the event.

Search Engine Optimisation – SEO

With a clear focus on local SEO, the website is optimised for a variety of keywords and phrases related to venue and function hire in Sutton Coldfield and in the first few months alone, has moved considerably higher in the search engine results pages.

In a recent conversation with them, they told me that my local Sutton Coldfield SEO services have been so successful that they now have more enquiries than they can handle.

Using keyword research, Google Search Console data and competitor analysis, keywords and phrases were identified and targeted. In addition to on-site SEO, a number of backlink opportunities were also identified, which has no doubt helped the SEO efforts.
