A website design is quoted based on the scope and needs of each web development project.

Every website is unique and requires different components; I design and develop custom websites specifically for your business.

I’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a price quote based on that assessment.

A basic business website package starts at around £995 and this includes the custom web design, competitor and keyword research and on-page search optimisation (SEO). I will also give you lots of advice about how to maximise the potential of your website and digital marketing.

As with the cost, this is dependent on the project however my standard timeline is 3-4 weeks to complete a website project but this depends on the project since the size and pace of any project is set by each client.

How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your feedback and how soon the content is provided all affect the speed of completion.

The functionality and revisions required will also play a role in your timeline.

Although the majority of my clients are local to Sutton Coldfield, Solihull or Birmingham, I work with clients all over the Midlands and the UK. We can communicate by email, video chat and scheduled calls.

I love it when my clients take control of their websites and learn to manage the content on their own.

You will have full access to the backend of your new website to make simple text updates, photograph and image changes, and new products and pricing can easily be changed on your own.

I build the sites in a friendly and easy-to-edit website builder, a tool with a clear user interface that allows you to edit the website via your web browser. 

However, I do recommend a professional (developer) to complete more complex changes and maintenance such as plugin updates, design or structure changes, and complex functionality requirements.

As part of your web design package, I provide one free hour of training and a short manual on how to update your website.

Yes, I can certainly help maintain your website, or you can do so yourself. The choice is yours.

I provide ongoing support for many clients but it is not mandatory and you will not be charged a monthly fee unless you want a monthly website maintenance contract.

Whilst the software I use means that you don’t need to be proficient in a programming language if you’re not great with technology, then I can certainly help.

Alternatively, please contact me if you require ad-hoc updates to your website and I will provide either an hourly rate or a project quote based on your requests.

I can help you with both hosting and domain but do not host websites myself.

After the initial set-up, you will be responsible for the relationship with the website hosting and domain companies.

This will ensure that you will have full access to your website.

My recommended web host is Hostinger, who offer great hosting at very reasonable prices.

Having a mobile-friendly website is more important than ever. I work hard to ensure your website is responsive on modern devices and browsers.

A lot! Your input and feedback are crucial to this website design and development process.

I’ll start with a lot of questions about your needs, your likes and your wants and work with you to develop just the right look and functionality.

I also request you provide sample websites before we begin your project. Remember this is your website and I need your help and direction as to your final vision.

Ideally, as the expert in what you do,  you will provide the text content for your website.

You know your business, so it’s always best if it comes from you.

However, if you’re able to give me at least a good outline of your services and what you do, then it’s remarkable what I can come up with after a little research.

I always build my websites on best practice SEO principles, however, the build of your website does not include ongoing monthly SEO.

All items I add to your website, including text, photos and video can be seen by Google and I will optimise this for you but that doesn’t mean you will automatically rank number one on Google!

I do, however, provide additional SEO services and a monthly SEO contract so I’m ready to assist with all your SEO needs ti improve your web traffic
